Bryce Harper was the first overall pick in the 2010 MLB draft and became the youngest position player to play in an All-Star Game. Harper won the National League (NL) Rookie of the Year Award in 2012 and tied for the NL lead in home runs in 2015. In 2015 Harper was the youngest MLB player to win the NL Most Valuable Player by unanimous decision, named ESPN's MLB Person of the Year, and also won the NL Hank Aaron and Silver Slugger Awards. After being drafted by the Phillies, Harper helped lead the team to their first post-season appearance in 11 years, won his second NL MVP award, and was instrumental in helping the team win the World Series. Harper was named National League Championship Series MVP in 2022.
